Finger Snappin and Lickin Good Time

My iPhone died on Saturday…Completely died. Goodbye, Sayonara, Asta LaVista!
I lost all of my pictures from it. Me…sad.

I had taken some really cool pictures of my night out on Friday. But…pictures…Gone. Waaaahhh!

My Mom and I went out for dinner at the Seminole Hard Rock Casino. We had a coupon for 2 free appetizers, 2 free entrees, and 2 free deserts.
Luckily as we were eating, I texted my Dad a few pictures of our meals but I’m still bummed that I can’t share all the ones I lost with you.

Anyhoo…we had dinner at the Hard Rock Cafe. The service was fabulously friendly.
I started off by ordering the Chicken Lettuce Wraps.

Marinated cucumber and red pepper salad, sweet matchstick carrots, bean sprouts and crisp fried wonton noodles. Served with diced roast chicken breast, sautéed mushrooms, garlic, ginger, and toasted sesame seeds and crisp iceberg lettuce for wrapping. Served on the side was Asian peanut and sweet & sour sauces for dipping. This was so delicious. I’d order it as a meal next time.

My Mom ordered the Jumbo Combo.

An array of their popular appetizers like Santa Fé Spring Rolls, Hickory-Smoked Chicken Wings, Onion Rings, Potato Skins and Tupelo Chicken Tenders.
I had a few nibbles and they all tasted fantastic.

For my entree, I ordered the Grilled Wild Alaskan Sockeye Salmon.

The filet was topped with a Merlot garlic butter sauce. It was served with sautéed vegetables and confetti rice on the side. Wow! The sauce was fabulous! I was not disappointed by any means in my choice.

For desert, (no picture…hhhmmmppphh) we ordered crème brûlée and a chocolate peanut butter pie. Both were served in little parfait glasses. My brûlée was full of sugar and almost too sweet but my mom disagreed. She really liked it. Her chocolate peanut butter pie was sweet and salty. I enjoyed her choice better.
There was way too much food so we got doggy bags to take home. It was a lovely night out and I’m happy to say that the Hard Rock Cafe in Tampa is now a favorite of mine.

“Some people tap their feet, some people snap their fingers, and some people sway back and forth. I just sorta do ‘em all together, I guess.”  – Elvis Presley
